Group Managing Director

Elena Chambers has more than 20 years’ experience in international energy sector event management working for London-based companies operating in Europe, Eastern Partnership and Central Asian countries.
Acting as a Founding Managing Director of CEC since 2011, her duties and responsibilities include: full contract and operational management of the company; project management conference theme production; speaker and sponsor acquisition; event marketing and advertising and financial and logistical planning and execution.
From 2008-2011 acting as a European Region Conference Manager at the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG Europe) in London, Elena managed all European conferences for the association and prior, from 2002-2008 held investor relations and event management positions with FTSE-listed oil and gas companies Sibir Energy Plc and Cadgoan Petroleum Plc.
As a UK citizen since 1993, Elena is qualified in financial services and is fluent in English, Georgian, Russian and conversational in French. Since 2020, Elena resides in Paris, France.

Nino Buachidze is a seasoned international development professional with over 27 years of experience in U.S. donor organization (USAID), managing large-scale, high value programs and public-private partnerships. She is in charge of project life cycle management, from design to technical, performance, financial oversight, and close-out as well as building partnerships with government institutions, media and private sector stakeholders and international donors.
Since 1998-August 2025, Ninka held a position USAID /Georgia, Program Senior Manager for Governance Office where Managed a $50 million program portfolio, Provided high-level policy advice to USAID and U.S. Embassy leadership on sector challenges, and strategic program approaches. Oversaw full project life cycle: design, implementation, technical and financial oversight, performance monitoring, and close-out ensuring effective communication of program outcomes.
Nino gained Master of Business Administration – MBA and Master’s Degree English Literature and International Relationship. She is fluent in English, Russian and Georgian.

David has more than 20 years experiences in running logistical operations with French and UK companies managing complex, high value projects from inception to completion. He oversees full logistical management of projects, HR, client liaison and regional business development. From 2023-2024, David has held operations manager position for ‘Alpha Crew’ UK events Crewing company for annual Canne Lions festival, managed projects on construction of high value tech exhibitions at luxury venues in French Rivera region. From 2017-2022 as a founding President of transportation company ‘Trans Contact’ SAS France and from 2010-2017 logistics manager for freight transport companies ‘Flash Connect’, David oversaw strategic partnership development, human resources, tendering process and financial management & reporting. He has gained Professional Diploma in Freight Transport in France and Bac +5 in as a Geological Engineer in Technical University of Georgia. David is a citizen of France and is fluent in French, Russian, Georgian and intermediate in English.

Regional Director

As an experienced senior management professional in hospitality and hotel management industry for over 20 years, Ani oversees delegate and client relations, logistical support, financial operations, onsite event management, marketing, administration and regional business development. She has worked as a director for international hotel 11UP in Tbilisi since 2015, where she took an active role in HR management, client support, logistical management and marketing . From 2005 to 2015, as a co-founding director Ani held a client relation and hospitality management roles at company ‘Akhali Bagi’. Ani is qualified in MS in languages from the State University of Georgia and also holds a diploma in music. She is fluent in Georgian and Russian and is conversational in English.
